SONORE WEBSITE
Sonore website has been in operation since June 1998. The current version of this website was launched in June 2005. To know more about what "Sonore" is, please refer to the Abous Us section.
LOCAL SEARCH ENGINE
You can search our catalogue by artist and label. Alternatively, search by keyword on release titles, genre, catalogue numbers or artist names (if they only appear on a compilation).
Only items currently available to purchase appear on the Sonore online shop.
JAPANESE ARTIST NAMES
As much as possible, we write Japanese artists names in the standard Japanese order: FAMILY NAME (capital letters), first name (small letters), eg: YOSHIDA Tatsuya, OTOMO Yoshihide, HAINO Keiji, etc. However, as some mistakes might occur, if you find one, please point it out to us.
If you would like to receive free information from Sonore by email you can join our monthly newsletter. For us to send information to you by email you will, of course, need to give us your email address. We will not use this for any other purpose, or share it with anyone else. You can subscribe from our list at any time by visiting the "home" page of this Web site.
PROMO/REVIEW COPIES/INTERVIEWS
If you are working for a radio or publication (print or web), please send a note from your editor (or relevant authority) vouching your accreditation and contact Sonore to nominate you to be added to our promo list for international journalists. DEMOS/A&R
Feel free to send your demos for consideration at our French office. Our preferred format is CD, but any other standard format is acceptable. Please don't send too much material to begin with, 3 or 4 of your best tracks is a good start.
Unfortunately, we are not able to reply individually to everyone who submits music to us, but we can assure you that all demos are reviewed and, if we like what we hear and wish to discuss it further, we will contact you.
Because of the huge volume of demos we receive, it's not possible to acknowledge receipt of submissions. If you want to make sure that your material has been received, please send it by a registered post service.
We can NOT currently accept demos by email (MP3, WAV, AIFF or any other attachment). Please do not submit demos in this way - they will be automatically deleted without being heard.
PAYPAL SECURE PAYMENT
When you place an order on Sonore online shop, your payment is handled automatically by PayPal using your credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express). Your credit card information is not sent to us or seen by us, it is entered in your PayPal account using 128-bit SSL encryption (the highest level commercially available). This operation is completely secure.
The only information you provide us is: your order content, your full name, your email address and your mailing address. Once your PayPal payment is completed, your package will be sent within 48 hours from France.
Please note that your order will be automatically cancelled, if your payment has not been processed within 7 days after confirming your order.

OTHER PAYMENT METHODS
PayPal is the easiest and quickest way to make your payment, and is completely secure. That said, if you do not have one of the accepted credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express), if you are in a country to which PayPal doesn't yet offer membership, or if you simply prefer not to use PayPal, we may be able to accept a bank transfer (please ask us our bank data information) or an international postal money order depending on your country. Some countries' international postal money orders cannot be exchanged in France, so please verify with your local post office first, before even placing your order with us. Those living in France can also pay with a regular French cheque (please make your cheque payable to "JAAPAN SARL" and send it to our French office address).
When you wish to pay for an order by bank transfer, international postal money order, French cheque, or if you want to suggest another payment method (other than PayPal), please contact us at info@sonore.com before placing your order.
SHIPPING/HANDLING INFORMATION
Shipping, handling and VAT are added to your order upon check-out according to the country you are ordering from. It means that the item prices while browsing are displayed without shipping, without handling and without VAT.
All Sonore online shop's items wherever they have been produced and/or bought are stocked in France. Once your payment is confirmed, your package will be sent within 48 hours from France and you should then receive it within 1 or 2 weeks depending on your location.

- Rest of the world: 10-21 days
Orders coming from France (up to 2kg) are sent by standard mail (Tarif Lettre),
international orders (up to 2kg) are sent by air mail (International Prioritaire).

Please note that a Registered Post option is available by checking the "Registered Post" option box in your shopping cart. A flat rate of 4.00 EUR without tax will be added to your order whatever country you are ordering from.
A flat rate of 1.00 EUR without tax will be charge per order to cover the handling and packing expenses, whatever the number of items you actually order.
VAT AND IMPORT DUTIES
VAT stands for Value Added Tax and is charged on all orders delivered within the EU. The rate of French VAT is actually 19,6%, and it will be automatically calculated upon check-out.
EU Countries are: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.
Orders being delivered to countries outside of the EU will not be charged VAT.
When ordering from overseas, your goods may be subject to import duties and taxes when the package reaches your country. Any additional charges levied for local custom clearance are your own responsibility. Sonore has no control over these charges as local import duties differ from country to country, so please contact your local customs office for further information before you order.
