Ryoichi "Keroppy" Maeda, is a photo journalist. Born in Japa in 1965, lives in Tokyo. Graduated from Chiba University. Key interest include tattoing, piercing, body modification, fetish and underground cultural movements.

His publications include Complete Body Modification Manual (Core Magazine), Modcon Book Japanese Edition (Future Works), etc. Also works for magazine such as Burst, Tattoo Burst, Bubka, Ura-Bubka, Nyan 2 Club, etc. Produced the documentary movie Like a Butterfly / Lukas Zpira Japan Tour (directed by Eric Bossick).
