| Doravideo in Spain, 25th and 26th of
March 2008 | | We are proud to announce Doravideo (aka
Ichiraku Yoshimitsu) live tour in Spain at the end of March 2008.
Doravideo will perform at the Teatro Alhambra (Granada) and at the Teatro
Central (Sevilla). If by chance you can make it, you won't want to miss
it. Doravideo will be on the same bill with Pan-Sonic both nights! The
shows are a successful booking collaboration between Sonore and Sinsalaudio from Vigo, Spain.
* 25th of March 2008, 21h00: Pan-Sonic / Doravideo (12
EUR) Teatro Alhambra (Granada, Spain)
* 26th of March, 21h00 : Pan-Sonic / Doravideo (Sala A, 14
EUR) Teatro Central (Sevilla, Spain)
Nota bene: As you may know, Doravideo uses his
drum-kit to mix and mash-up live a bunch of video sequences through a Mac
computer powered by a Jitter patch developed by his friend Ito Takayuki.
Anyway, what lends the performance the most charm, besides the technical
skill and the endurance and colossal power of Ichiraku's drumming, is that
those video excerpts are not finely chiseled and selected pieces of
experimental video art, but are merely popular junk images fed to us
everyday by the mass media. The maltreatment of those images on which
Ichiraku (literally) rains blows down upon with its sticks has something
purely enjoyable for the audience, really, a kind of great relief and
satisfaction. Sonore was one of the few online shops (the only
one?) who took the risk of distributing the "dangerous"
Doravideo DVD-Rs, infected with many uncleared copyrighted material
content (Kill Bill, Kiss, Shinning, YMO, George W. Bush w/ Kim Jong Il,
Japanese TV programs, etc.) Ichiraku has recently, however, received a
serious warning from some furious copyright holders to take all Doravideo
DVD-Rs off the market. Unfortunately, we have to remove them as well from
the Sonore online shop. |

RECORD LABEL
Since 1998, Sonore label has continued to
release some of the most internationally acclaimed cutting-edge artists.
With a fancy for experimental electronic music, our catalogue gathers a
bunch of quick-witted and ingenious talents who never shy from pushing
limits. "Sonore seems to be rapidly becoming one of the
most intrinsically daring electronic labels around, with these two
releases acting as a neat primer of its boldly explorative, decidedly
experimental modus operandi." (Allan Harrison, Grooves Magazine,
USA 2006)

Satanicpornocultshop
A mesmerising, art-damaged assemblage of what seems like billions
of audio fragments sifted from the refuse of an increasingly dumb
globe-mass culture, each contorted into fun, furiously elliptical sonic
sculptures. (Allan Harrison, Grooves Mag, USA
2006) Profile Available

Yuko Nexus6
Yuko Nexus6 is another distinctive Japanese female musician to
add to a list that includes singers Haco, Phew and Ami Yoshida, queen of
the sinewave Sachiko M and shamisen player Yumiko Tanaka. "Song Book" is a
one-off tour de force, showing no shortage of ideas or attitude.

Satoru Wono
"Sonata for Sine Waves and White Noise" does for electronic music
what Jeff Koons did for the visual arts, to subvert the audience's
perception of the immediate exterior with a sense of street smart satire.
